Job Summary
Lead design-phase activities for design-build projects, collaborating with customers/owners to define expectations and coordinate with designers; facilitate solicitation, contracting, and selection of designers; develop and present project proposals; create detailed design-phase and baseline construction schedules; conduct construction planning including subcontractor selections and site utilization; guide design team on constructability and customer expectations; support estimating with technical design aspects and cost documentation; manage design-phase costs and budgets; ensure regulatory approvals and risk management, implement LEED tracking, and mentor/design-phase team members; participate in hiring decisions and performance evaluations; maintain strong customer relations and provide site/workflow improvement recommendations; travel up to 50%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Estimating, or equivalent field
- Minimum of six years relevant experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
