Job Summary
Lead design manager for a variety of corporate interior projects at Gensler, driving all phases of project delivery, managing mid-size to large project teams, developing schedules and budgets, and mentoring junior staff. Build and maintain client relationships, coordinate with contractors, agencies, engineers and consultants, support business development and marketing efforts, review proposals and contracts, oversee project billing, and ensure quality and profitability. Require strong FF&E expertise, knowledge of building codes and accessibility, sustainable design experience (LEED preferred), and proficient design software skills (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop) along with MS Office. Base salary is established between $106,000 and $150,000 plus bonus/benefits; relocation not specified.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Interior Design or Architecture
- 8+ Years of Design Management experience in an Architecture firm
- Knowledge and experience in all phases of projects that span both interior design and core and shell Architecture
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Photoshop
- Strong programming and space planning skills
- LEED project participation and accreditation preferred
- Excellent client service and project profitability
