Job Summary
Design Manager reporting to the Head of Creation drives the design vision across web and corporate channels (webpages, emails, newsletters, etc.), leads a team of three designers plus a design intern, and ensures collaboration with project management, development, copywriting, and integration teams. Responsibilities include developing compelling design concepts aligned with brand guidelines and user needs, overseeing the full design lifecycle, maintaining design system and brand consistency, and fostering a culture of innovation. The role requires minimum 8 years of experience in web design (UX/UI), strong leadership and multi-project management abilities, proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite), and expertise in integrating generative AI into design workflows to enhance UX/UI. Candidates should have a bachelor/master’s degree level education, be fluent in French with good English skills, and have prior experience in web agencies or fintech/retail finance as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a web design-related position (UX/UI)
- Leadership and management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe creative apps)
- Proficiency in AI tools and in integrating generative AI into design workflows to optimize processes, accelerate ideation, produce creative assets, and enhance UX/UI
- Proven ability to lead, structure, and evolve Design Systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and strong adoption across teams
- Highly organized, autonomous and results-oriented
- Excellent oral/written communication, collaboration & influencing skills
- High-energy, hard-working team player
- Education to bachelor/master’s degree level
- Fluent in French, good English skills
- Previous experience in web communication agency or in fintech or retail finance business is a plus
