Job Summary
Manage the design, preliminary engineering, and plan development for construction projects while serving as the right-of-way manager to acquire easements and oversee the Department's ownership of public lands. Conduct annual in-service bridge inspections and assist Engineering Technicians with assigned duties. Prepare several programs for Department Management and perform other tasks as assigned. This role requires a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering with FE certification or a 2-year degree plus eight years of design experience. Applicants must become a Notary Public within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering, including the successful passing of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
- 2-year degree in Civil Engineering Technology and eight years of design experience related to highway and bridge construction
- Notary Public
