Design Manager PMC / Data Centre - CSA & MEP Integration

Job Summary
Lead multi-disciplinary CSA and MEP design coordination for hyperscale data center campuses. Manage the complete design lifecycle, acting as a bridge between global clients, consultancies, and contractors. Conduct technical constructability reviews to ensure design feasibility and resolve complex MEP and structural layout clashes using BIM/Navisworks. Drive local authority permitting workflows (TNB, DOSH, BOMBA) to secure building clearances and final Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC). Required: 8–12+ years in technical design management or multi-disciplinary coordination for heavy industrial, utility, or mission-critical data center projects; in-depth knowledge of Malaysian UBBL codes and local submission processes; ability to manage complex interfaces between consultants and contractors. Preferred: active credentials such as PMP or Green Building (GBIF/LEED) certifications. Note: Employment passes, work visas, or overseas relocation support are not available; only candidates with work rights in Malaysia will be considered.
Required Qualifications
- 8 to 12+ years of experience in technical design management or multi-disciplinary coordination for heavy industrial, utility, or mission-critical data center projects
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian UBBL codes and local statutory submission processes
- Proven ability to manage complex interfaces between consultants and contractors
