Job Summary
Lead the design team in creating accurate engineering drawings for telecommunications infrastructure and fiber networks while balancing hands-on project production with high-level mentorship. Manage daily operations, delegate tasks, and perform QA/QC reviews on construction drawings, lease exhibits, and zoning plans to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to CAD standards. Utilize AutoCAD and GIS to track site-specific designs, traffic control plans, and utility profiles, then collaborate with Market and Project Managers to allocate resources and meet scheduling deadlines. Oversee field activities including site surveys, mappings, and civil investigations to support project execution.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in fiber design (new builds, site mods, or fiber) with a proven track record of managing project budgets
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret building codes
- Strong ability to work autonomously and manage a multidisciplinary team professionally

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related technical field preferred
