Design Manager - Interiors

Design Manager — Interiors at Gensler leads and manages all phases of corporate interior projects from setup to design through construction administration, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budgets. The role involves coordinating project objectives and requirements, managing schedules and budgets with clients, vendors, and consultants, leading teams of architects, interior designers, and graphic designers, coordinating bidding and contracts, ensuring contract conformity, and participating in business development and market strategy. The position emphasizes sustainability and certifications (e.g., LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL, Fitwel, Net Zero), client relationship management, and growing project management experience across hospitality, workplace, mission-critical, sports, and healthcare interior projects. A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design is required, with NCIDQ preferred, and 10–15 years of related experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams; Revit experience is valued.
