Job Summary
Lead design manager for Education projects within STV's Construction Management group in Los Angeles. Oversees design activities from concept through handoff, coordinates with Architects and District personnel, ensures compliance with educational and building standards, manages design review processes, selects architectural firms, directs documentation for legal requirements, and supports community relations and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of full-time paid professional experience managing facilities design or planning and coordination of capital projects including design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling
- 5 years of this experience must be with the design, planning and construction of educational facilities or similar public agencies
