Job Summary
The Design Manager for Construction & Deployment will lead the planning, design, and documentation of data centre and critical infrastructure projects, ensuring designs meet business requirements, industry standards, and project timelines. Responsibilities include leading the design process, overseeing the development of design documentation, ensuring compliance with building codes, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and collaborating with construction and operations teams. The role also involves reviewing design submissions, conducting risk assessments, mentoring junior engineers, and providing progress reports. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field and have significant experience in data centre design and management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- 8+ years of relevant experience in data centre or critical infrastructure design, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Demonstrated experience in design oversight, project delivery, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of AI data centre compute and networking technology is highly desirable.
