Design Liaison Engineer

Job Summary
Create designs for fluid accessory components and structural packages, including pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and pipe assemblies. Deliver engineering drawings such as P&ID, general arrangement, and assembly drawings, along with work instructions and API data sheets. Perform engineering calculations for pressure drop, valve selection, and stress analysis while adhering to industry codes like API, ASME, and PED. Collaborate with designers and suppliers to present solutions in design reviews, ensuring requirements, risk reviews, and bills of material meet schedule. Requires 10+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in oil & gas, with 8-10% travel availability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
- 10+ years of professional experience designing mechanical systems
- Must be available to travel 8-10% (domestic and international)
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in the oil & gas industry
- Some experience in NX
- Experience with Welding design layout
- Experience with minor structures design
