Design Lead – Substation Renewables (Civil & Structural)

Design Lead (Civil / Structural) to review and execute Civil/Structural engineering activities for Solar PV power plants, AIS and Pooling substations. Role includes coordinating with inter-department checks (Electrical, Instrumentation, MEP), facilitating BIM 3D model development, guiding teams of Design Engineers, Draughts Persons, and modelers, and providing support through the full project lifecycle from pre-bid engineering to commissioning and O&M. Must deliver drawings and documents on time, review design calculations, coordinate vendor drawings, and ensure designs meet client specifications and project schedules. Technical expertise expected in civil/structural for control rooms, transformer foundations, outdoor steel structures, HVDC exposure, soil/topography inputs, and familiarity with Indian and international codes; software including STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE; 8–14 years experience in Solar PV/Power Distribution projects. Minimum qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering; projects with Middle East & Central Asia exposure preferable.
