Design Lead/Design Project Manager

Lead engineering design and project management for capital projects in the pharmaceutical/API sector. Responsible for identifying and applying Engineering Design Standards, Functional Standards, and regulatory requirements; oversee overall design delivery, coordinate design activities with Project Manager through all design phases, and ensure design meets approved intent through collaboration with design firms, engineering tech centers, disciplines, and end users. Develop design requirements, assist with and maintain the design schedule, participate in selecting A/E firms, establish earned value progress systems, expedite design decisions, and govern design activities. Support value engineering, KPI reviews, verification planning, risk assessments, and development of standard operating procedures and best practices related to design/verification. Requires the ability to facilitate conflict resolution, influence stakeholders at multiple levels, and frame complex decisions; strong project management skills and demonstrated alignment with industry best practices.
