Job Summary
Design Intern at One Design Company in Chicago during Summer 2026. You’ll be embedded as a working team member, attend client meetings, contribute to design reviews, shadow senior designers, and work on live projects with a mentor guiding your work. You’ll start with a defined project, deliverables, and an end date, aiming to leave with at least one portfolio-ready piece. The role emphasizes developing your design process, taking creative risks, and gaining real studio experience in brand and web design. Proficiency with Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, and the schedule is 9-5 with 2-3 days in the office each week for an 8-week fixed-term internship.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a design program, or graduated within the last 1-2 years.
- Portfolio demonstrating range in brand or web design (or both)
- Familiarity with Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Strong communication and willingness to learn
