Job Summary
Lead, mentor, and develop the design and project engineering teams to drive performance and productivity. Establish and implement design strategies, processes, and best practices. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution. Drive innovation in design for manufacturability, including oversight of drawings and bills of materials. Provide technical leadership and resolve complex engineering and design challenges. Prepare and present design proposals, project updates, and performance metrics to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
- 8–10 years of experience in engineering design
- 3–5 years of leadership or management experience
- Proficiency with CAD software
- Strong knowledge of applicable industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD and Inventor
