Job Summary
Design Engineer to design municipal water/wastewater infrastructure including force mains, storm sewers, and sanitary sewers; hybrid full-time opportunity in Mississauga; collaborate with municipal agencies, project managers, and field staff; assist with start-up, testing, and commissioning; requires 7+ years of municipal water/wastewater design experience, Ontario P.Eng., trenchless technologies, Civil3D/AutoCAD/MicroStation, and ability to travel within Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience related to the design and construction administration of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- A current and valid Professional Engineer certification (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
- Experience with trenchless technologies, and pipeline rehabilitation.
- Experience with Ontario Environmental standards and guidelines.
- Planning and permitting processes experience.
- Project management experience with municipal water and sewer projects is an asset.
- Valid license, ability to travel and visit projects sites within Ontario.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Civil 3D software
