Job Summary
Design Engineer V for Meta's AR Product Team focusing on PCB layouts and miniaturization. Responsibilities include leading complex PCB layout projects (rigid, rigid-flex, flex) from kick-off to tape-out, coordinating design reviews and meetings, creating/modifying engineering templates and data, and collaborating with EE leads, mechanical engineers, TPMs, DFM, SiPi, and external suppliers. Must apply strong electrical engineering principles (power distribution, high-speed circuits, RF), proactively identify risks, and propose workflow solutions. Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve DFM issues and ensure high-yield builds. Preferred BS in Electrical Engineering; experience miniaturization in dense form-factor designs; strong communication and MS Office proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in complex PCB Design
- 5+ years of experience using Allegro PCB Design Tools (version 23.1 or newer)
- Strong understanding of the mechanical aspects of electronics design
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
