Job Summary
Lead New Product Introduction by designing production and development tooling, creating manufacturing drawings, and writing Bills of Materials to ensure repeatable, cost-effective production. Conduct feasibility reviews, cost analysis, and design validations including FEA and prototyping for sealing solutions while managing technical proposals and test plans. Collaborate with Project Management, Commercial, and Development teams to coordinate specialized contributions, assist in customer management for technical issues, and support internal systems development and operations problem-solving. Maintain abreast of new materials, industry trends, and legal requirements while performing other assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee or Refugee
Desired Qualifications
- Design Engineer: 5+ years
- Production/Manufacturing: 5+ year
- Cad System: Solidworks
- Strong ability & experience of using 3d modeling software (solid works preferred)
- High proficiency in drawing standards, GD&T
- Passionate in engineering with strong fundamentals understanding
- Excellent attention to detail & high standards of quality
- Experience of working within a similar role within a production/manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads with minimal supervision
- Computer literate, MS Word, Excel, MS Access
