Job Summary
Design Engineer to contribute to the design of transportation facilities across interstates, interchanges, urban arterials, rural roadways, and multimodal facilities as part of Muller Engineering’s Transportation Team. Responsibilities include creating designs from concept through completion, collaborating with mid-level and senior engineers on studies, reports, and design packages, taking full ownership of projects, and conducting field observations when needed. Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office is desirable; hydraulics and/or traffic engineering experience is a plus. The role operates on a hybrid schedule with an office in Lakewood, CO and relocation to the Denver metro area is welcomed; applicants from across the continental United States are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
- 0-3 years of experience in transportation engineering design
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative team player
