Design Engineer – Switchgear

Job Summary
Design and develop LV & MV switchgear panels in compliance with IEC/BS standards, preparing General Arrangement drawings, Single Line Diagrams, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials. Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and project teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and project requirements. Provide support during testing, Factory Acceptance Tests, and preparation of technical documentation. Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in LV & MV Switchgear design is mandatory, with strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or EPLAN. Salary is finalized during the interview, with benefits adhering to Kuwait Labor laws.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in LV & MV Switchgear design
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or EPLAN
- Good understanding of LV & MV switchgear components and panel design
- Sound knowledge of IEC standards and electrical engineering practices
- Ability to perform technical calculations and component selection
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
