Job Summary
Perform floodway modeling, runoff calculations, and hydraulic analysis for pipe, culvert, and detention basin designs. Develop erosion control plans, prepare SWPPPs for NPDES permitting, and conduct FEMA mapping and revisions. Design sanitary sewer systems, underground storage, and site grading plans while ensuring compliance with ODNR Dam Safety standards. Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, clients, and regulatory agencies to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Apply local, state, and federal engineering standards throughout project development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Strong understanding of water resources and stormwater engineering principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with HydroCAD.

- Experience with HEC-RAS.
- Experience with HEC-HMS.
- Experience with StormCAD.
- Experience with PondPack.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
