Job Summary
Control and manage products across Quality, Cost, Design, and Delivery scopes to achieve defined targets. Interface with customers on technical aspects of E&EDS Design, creating 2D WH drawings in Catia-V5/V6 and ensuring design accuracy against specs. Countermeasure and troubleshoot electrical problems while supporting VA/VE investigations to meet cost targets. Lead design reviews, establish alternative solutions for quality concerns, and investigate design changes between customer and internal teams. Create supporting documents, present to stakeholders, and support testing specifications and scheduling to validate product performance. 10-15% travel required within the US and Mexico; reasonable overtime expected for design releases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Technical field
- 3-5 years Design and/or Product Development experience
- Preferably, wire harness or related products in Automotive industry
- 10-15% travel required within US (regionally) and Mexico
- Reasonable overtime required as it relates to customer's design release schedule and urgent request
- Team oriented person with good communication skills
- Strong self-motivation for self-direction on challenging tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft office
Desired Qualifications
- BSEE
- BSME
- CATIA or other ES-CAD system experience
