Job Summary
Remedial / Methods Engineer responsible for structural strengthening and remediation projects using traditional engineering methods and advanced composite materials (Carbon Fibre/Fibre Reinforced Polymer). Work with experienced engineers across investigation, design, detailing, and construction support; participate in site inspections before and after design, review project data, coordinate with clients and internal teams, specify investigation requirements and support NDT teams, prepare construction methodologies, and contribute to continuous improvement. Must have a Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, 3–5 years of construction engineering experience, knowledge of concrete structural design principles, familiarity with Australian Standards, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Excel. Strong communication skills in English are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in engineering in construction
- Strong understanding of structural behaviour and the principles behind structural design processes, particularly for concrete structures
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and codes
- Experience using: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong willingness to learn and develop a deeper understanding of structural behaviour and strengthening methodologies
- Fluent in written and spoken English
