Job Summary
Design Engineer responsible for leading design work packages and delivering technical solutions for customer requirements within an aerospace context. Responsibilities include creating and configuring design data for development, production, and customer service; ensuring compliance with technical regulations and standards; performing design analyses for components/assemblies to ensure cost efficiency, safety, manufacturability, and reliability; implementing design changes and redesigns aligned with customer requirements; developing and enforcing common procedures and standards; supporting product change management; and collaborating with other departments. Preferred experience in the aerospace industry and ability to influence guidelines, practices, and procedures. RTX emphasizes equal employment opportunity.
Required Qualifications
- Up to 4 years of formal study in engineering, or comparable knowledge/experience.
