Job Summary
Review and assess existing and new telecommunications facilities based on site visit photos and survey information. Complete detailed sketches of existing features and proposed solutions for supporting equipment on masts, towers, rooftops, and new field sites. Determine design solutions using relevant standards and codes, then prepare and distribute information to drafting personnel. Take supervision and ownership of projects through all phases, managing multiple timelines to meet tight deadlines while liaising with internal teams, clients, and third-party contractors. Update project tracking systems and tools to ensure accuracy. Carry out duties professionally to promote the reputation of CPS, while cooperating with workplace health and safety measures and undertaking required training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in telecommunications infrastructure design
- Experience reviewing site survey information and producing site sketches
- Ability to communicate clearly and review design options with team members, designers, and construction personnel
- Ability to work in a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive and friendly demeanor
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of QA systems (ISO 9001:2008)
- Knowledge of OH&S AS4801 & Environmental ISO 14001
- Additional telecommunications infrastructure design experience
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and practices
