Design Engineer role focused on creating custom solutions using the item machine building kit and CAD tools. Responsibilities include transferring drawings into the ERP system for customer quotes, providing technical support, collaborating with the sales team, preparing production orders, and ensuring quality control of designs. Candidate should have a college degree in engineering or a comparable field with 2 to 5 years of CAD experience, strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- College degree with a major in engineering or a comparable degree or experienced mechanical Technician
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience with CAD Software preferred
- Analytical skills and a business focused approach
- Exceptional verbal & written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CAD Software (Solid Edge, Solidworks, Inventor)
- Skills at ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Professional Skills at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
