Job Summary
Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate technologies, and perform research to validate design concepts. Monitor project progress, prepare procedures, and identify issues while assisting in forecasting, quality take-offs, and change orders. Perform technical reviews, troubleshooting, and day-to-day support for maintenance, operations, and other engineering groups. Utilize vendor data and interface with technical organizations to compile documentation. Maintain safety compliance in office or field environments involving outdated facilities, with potential exposure to hazardous materials and radiological training.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in a related field
- 5 year of related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7 year of related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in Electrical/Instrumentation and Controls
- Pre-Employment Physical (office or field work)
- Drug Screen
- The ability to obtain/maintain 'L' or 'Q' Clearance one year from hire date
- Background Check
- Any site required training
- Must have the ability to climb ladders, and steps
- Accurate distance, near and depth vision
- Foot, eye and hearing protection
- Ability to perform sedentary to moderate work
- exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- non-repetitive, up to 20 pounds frequently
- Performing such activities as lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, grasping, kneeling, stooping, reaching
