Job Summary
Design Engineer I responsible for designing thermal solutions for gas/liquid delivery systems using CAD tools, coordinating with account managers and operations to meet customer specifications, participating in design reviews and NPI processes, and supporting prototyping, testing, and fabrication activities in a fast-paced semiconductor equipment environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years design experience in semiconductor capital equipment, heating or related industry
- Experience with thermal management and electrical design preferred
- Hands on prototyping and testing experience
- Strong CAD skills: AutoDesk 3D Inventor, AutoCAD 2D, SolidWorks
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including sales and operations
- MS Teams proficiency and ability to participate in design reviews and NPI process
- Ability to travel as needed (overnight travel mentioned)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Understanding of SAP and MS Office
- Knowledge of thermal applications and material properties
