Job Summary
Design Engineer to design, develop, and continuously improve grain storage systems and accessories. Responsible for configuring product variations to meet customer requirements, generating accurate BOMs, creating 3D models and drawings in Creo, collaborating cross-functionally to incorporate customer feedback, evaluating designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance, performing engineering calculations and simulations, supporting prototype builds and validation testing, contributing to NPI and continuous improvement, and applying lessons learned to existing products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural / Biological, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5–10 years of engineering experience, ideally in product development
- Experience taking products from concept through production release
- Proficiency with Creo and Windchill a plus
- Background in agriculture a plus
- Knowledge of structural analysis and building codes a plus
- MatLab, MathCad, RISA software experiences are a plus
- PE or desire to obtain PE is a plus
