Job Summary
Own the design system, including components, patterns, and standards that every product and web surface is built on. Build the public web presence from marketing sites to campaign pages with the same rigor as in-product experiences. Raise the craft bar on in-product surfaces by partnering with designers and engineers to turn complex clinical workflows into simple, trusted interactions. Define and share AI-native workflows, documenting prompts and patterns in tools like Cursor and Claude Code so the team moves faster. Run web experiments and instrument surfaces to ground design decisions in measurable outcomes. Partner across product design, engineering, product, and marketing to drive system evolution. This role demands high autonomy and ownership to scale Forus' AI-powered network connecting doctors, pharmacies, and biopharma.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience spanning both design and front-end engineering
- Strong, demonstrable front-end skills: React/TypeScript, modern HTML and CSS, WebGL
- Experience building or significantly evolving a design system or component library at a product company
- A strong eye for visual and interaction design
- Portfolio to show visual and interaction design work
- Comfort building on a CMS
- Experience running web experiments
- Experience managing web analytics
- Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals
- High NPS with former teammates
- All full-time roles are in person in New York
