Job Summary
Collaborate with customers and ESCO Sales to identify design criteria for best-in-class products while applying engineering principles to define and document problem solutions. Manage system database parameters for mass production and daily orders, including engineering change orders and updates, alongside developing fabricated products aligned with manufacturing needs. Identify process improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support project success. Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally, typically about two weeks per year, while maintaining a 100% commitment to zero-harm safety behaviors. Requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with two years of experience, CAD proficiency, and familiarity with steel fabrication and manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years related engineering experience, preferably in heavy industry or manufacturing
- Proficiency in CAD modeling, ideally Siemens NX
- Authorization to permanently work in the United States
- Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally, typically about 2 weeks per year in North America

Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing steel fabricated products and understanding of materials and manufacturing processes such as castings, wear-resistant composites, welding, cutting, forming, and assembly
- Familiarity with Oracle and Agile software systems
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and diverse global teams
