Design Engineer Cold End Components (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Design Cold End components including blades, vanes, mechanisms, and fan parts by integrating customer and specialist requirements to ensure quality, integrity, and timely delivery. Create design solutions using Robust Design and System Engineering techniques, generating design definitions, component specifications, and build instruction drawings for technical reviews and audits. Conduct business case studies to support product change and cost reduction, while interfacing with Projects, Manufacturing, and Operations. Support Service Engineering through special investigations, technical variance evaluations, and repair scheme development, and instruct modellers and external design agencies. Apply research findings from local and global university partnerships to improve work processes and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace or equivalent
- Good knowledge of drawing creation and interpretation
- UG (NX) knowledge
- PLM Teamcenter knowledge
- Good English written and spoken
