Job Summary
Design commercial and residential land development projects by assisting with preliminary grading, utility layouts, final grading, and construction documents. Prepare drainage, utility, and stormwater management designs while performing code searches, calculations, and analysis for reports. Provide AutoCAD support for project documents and assist the Project Manager with site visits, shop drawing reviews, and submittals to jurisdiction agencies. Communicate daily with clients, contractors, consultants, and team members to deliver contract documents for permits and construction. This entry-level role offers exposure to multiple project stages under the guidance of experienced professionals at a top-ranked design firm.
Required Qualifications
- New graduate or up to 3 years of experience within the Civil Engineering field
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong computer and written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Land/site development experience
- Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
