Design Engineer

Design and develop prototype models and methods to validate design concepts and final designs, including required supporting engineering calculations. Confer with manufacturing, quality assurance, production, vendors, and contractors to address various aspects of product design projects. Work with engineering support groups to check final designs and modify them as appropriate, while interacting with all company support departments to resolve manufacturing problems and improve product quality. Visit customer sites and contractors to validate product design specifications and resolve product issues. Requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MathCAD.
