Job Summary
Design Engineer based in AirTrunk's Singapore HQ to drive technical coordination of documents, design submissions, specifications, and Basis of Design write ups; ensure design compliance with local codes, industry standards, AirTrunk, and client requirements; deliver designs that meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives; resolve technical issues within defined scope and coordinate with consultants on technical deliverables; leverage expertise in data center systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling, fire suppression, cabling) and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, ETAP) to support rapid hyperscale expansion and sustainability goals.
Required Qualifications
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- 4-6 years of experience in relevant engineering field
- Preferably within a design consultancy or a datacentre colocation provider
- Strong expertise in data center systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling systems, fire suppression, structured cabling
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, ETAP, or equivalent
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
