Job Summary
Lead preparation and coordination of civil design models and drawing packages across road, drainage, utilities, rail and staging. Drive digital engineering and BIM workflows, support model federation and clash detection, mentor designers and drafters, and liaise with clients and stakeholders (including MRWA and PTA). From concept design through IFC and construction phases, contribute to continuous improvement of drafting standards and delivery efficiency across transport infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Design, Drafting or similar
- 10–15+ years’ experience in civil design/drafting within transport infrastructure
- Strong experience delivering MRWA, PTA or major infrastructure projects
- Advanced capability in OpenRoads Designer, 12d or Civil 3D
- Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design documentation
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards, Austroads and WA requirements
- Experience working within BIM-enabled or digitally coordinated environments
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience mentoring and developing teams
