Job Summary
Produce and update detailed 2D and 3D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD to support engineering and production needs. Prepare assembly, part, and detail drawings according to company standards, incorporate design changes via Engineering Change Notices, and verify drawing accuracy for manufacturing. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to clarify design intent, assist with bill of materials creation, and maintain organized CAD libraries. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical or industrial design drafting
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of mechanical design
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes
- Strong understanding of assembly methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications
