Job Summary
Lead and grow the Design service in the Midlands by driving business development, generating revenue, and recruiting to expand the team. Shape the creative direction for projects across West and East Midlands, contributing to delivery of strategic masterplanning, concept design, layouts, design documents, and detailed planning applications. Work with senior Directors to define regional and national business growth while demonstrating financial management expertise and mentoring staff. Requires 15 years' experience in UK residential industry with a track record of delivered projects in the Midlands.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Architectural Technology or Civil Engineering
- Associate Director/Director in an established design practice or developer in the UK
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in the UK residential industry
- Demonstrable track record of consented and delivered residential led projects in the Midlands
- Demonstrable client following and reputation in the Midlands
- Excellent knowledge of local authorities in the Midlands
- At least 5 years' experience of leading teams and mentoring staff
- Excellent experience of financial management
- Eligibility to work permanently in the UK without sponsorship
