Design Coordinator (Tunnel & Marine)

Job Summary
Lead design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil/structural components for tunnelling and marine scope; coordinate with other engineering disciplines; design structures using static and dynamic analysis; determine appropriate materials (steel, wood, masonry, concrete) to meet load requirements; originate and check structural deliverables (steel/concrete calculations, specifications, material requisitions); analyze design conflicts and propose solutions; assist in cost estimates and change orders; prepare Civil/Structural documentation for installation and maintenance; support project management in addressing Civil/Structural requirements and issues; travel as required; role may involve in-person attendance several days per week at the office/project; opportunity to join project in Lubiatowo, Poland.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
- 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
- Proven work experience in design of heavy industrial-type facilities/structures on engineering projects
- Familiarity with Eurocodes and current design standards/regulations
- Ability to independently execute detailed design drawings for structural/site systems of tunnels and marine structures
- Understanding of construction technologies and site execution practices in tunnelling, marine, and groundworks environments
- Progress toward PE/Chartership or equivalent professional registration
- Willingness to travel to client/supplier sites or project locations as required
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications
