Job Summary
Manage projects from concept to completion, including design development, product ordering, and client communication. Produce detailed design and shop drawings, conduct on-site surveys to verify field measurements, and meet with customers and vendor sales representatives to review project requirements. Place and track product orders, prepare competitive quotes and bids, oversee project invoicing, and monitor accounts receivable. Support daily showroom operations and perform general office administration tasks. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Valid driver's license with eligibility for coverage under the company insurance policy
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen - including marijuana
Desired Qualifications
- One to three years of experience using computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Previous design experience and familiarity with the construction or lumber industry
- Strong knowledge of design principles, shop drawings, and fabrication/installation processes
- Understanding of construction materials, methods, and terminology, particularly within the lumber or building products industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and design-related software applications, including 2020 Design and Cabinet Vision
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, documentation, and order tracking
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and team members
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and project documentation
