Job Summary
As a Design Consultant, provide design expertise for scheduled appointments (Studio and Home visits), virtual appointments, and on-demand design time; network with local organizations to promote Design Solutions services; support the retail store team with order entry, visual floorsets, merchandising, and store maintenance; participate in product training. Requires 2+ years in interior design/consultation, space planning, and basic drafting, with a valid driver’s license and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Onsite role at the Columbus, OH location with relocation not offered. Emphasizes guest engagement and elevating the shopping experience through customized design solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in interior design, consultation, and event planning
- Space planning skills
- Basic drafting skills with ability to read and interpret architectural plans and basic floor plans
- Valid driver’s license
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
