Job Summary
Bassett Design Consultants are responsible for building meaningful and long-term customer relationships using relationship selling through interior design consultations and makeovers to maximize selling opportunities. They have knowledge from furniture construction to design trends, engage customers in designing spaces, conduct virtual appointments and live chats, and drive to customers’ residences and businesses for makeovers. Training includes product knowledge, sales techniques, design skills, and interior design certification training to develop relationships and increase sales. Compensation is commission-based with bonuses; potential earnings range from $70,000 to $135,000 annually, with additional opportunities up to $105k average for experienced designers and up to $135k for top writers.
