Design Consultant I

Provide expert advice on design elements such as color, texture, lighting, and layout while recommending products that fit within a customer's budget. Consult with showroom customers to assess design needs, create design plans and presentations using CAD software, and quote prices for tile, bath, and kitchen products. Build relationships with customers to establish long-term partnerships, generate repeat business, and handle incoming calls and complaints. Keep the showroom organized, visually appealing, and properly stocked, ensuring accurate inventory levels and placing orders as necessary. Stay up to date on the latest design trends and product offerings to support accurate pricing and product information. This role requires 1-4 years of experience in design consulting or sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The position involves 8-hour shifts from 9:45 AM to 6:00 PM with weekends required.
