Job Summary
Design Consultant on the sales floor engaging customers to support design projects, scheduling design appointments, and advising on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects. Collaborate with store leadership to maximize sales goals and expand the design services brand. Proficient use of design applications (Salesforce, Online Design Appointment Scheduler, MyProject) and strong communication to manage projects from inquiry to installation with timely follow-up; develop clientele through networking and referrals and maintain strong product knowledge and service standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of retail/customer service experience
- High school diploma and/or GED
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
- Internal candidates a minimum of 6 months with Floor and Decor
