Job Summary
Design & Concept Coordinator responsible for being the first point of contact for homeowners considering a renovation, conducting consultative calls and in-home visits to clarify goals and budgets, and guiding clients through Ackard's sales and design process. Develop renovation concepts, collaborate with drafting, estimating, and construction teams to realize ideas, present concepts and budgets, and ensure a smooth transition from design to construction. Requires 5+ years in residential design or related client-facing roles, strong consultative sales, design software proficiency (Chief Architect, SketchUp), excellent communication and relationship-building, and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset. Office-based with regular site visits to prospective client homes in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; occasional exposure to active construction environments; standard weekday hours with some client-meeting flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate in Interior Design or an equivalent combination of education and experience
