Job Summary
Join Scarsella Bros., Inc. as a Design Build Project Engineer responsible for reviewing and managing project submittals, RFIs, and documentation. You will assist in interpreting engineering drawings for field crews, perform quantity calculations, and support field operations with material takeoffs and engineering calculations. The role includes preparing work plans, coordinating job site activities, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring jobsite safety compliance. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management, have 2+ years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' construction field experience
- Work experience in engineering and leading engineers
- Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related
- Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
