Job Summary
Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation design-build and pre-design projects, coordinating with other discipline leads and serving as an integral member of the project delivery team. Manage drainage, hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks using Microstation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Work effectively as a team leader in a group environment to maintain positive relationships with team members and clients while meeting project deadlines. This role contributes to the growth of one of the Mountain West region's leading Design-Build teams, providing value-added designs that drive projects to success through collaboration with local and national contractors.
Required Qualifications
- Current PE license
- 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects
- 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
- Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
- Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels
- Organized and detail-oriented
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation drainage engineering
- Preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA
