Job Summary
Design Automation Engineer to install, maintain, and provide technical support for design environments (automation scripts, front-end and back-end design tools, flows, licenses) and the compute environment (storage, compute, netbatch, ION). Collaborate with PDK/library experts and design teams to ensure tool availability, support design ramp-up through training and documentation, and create automation to streamline installation of PDks, EDA tools, and licenses. Support integration of new tools/methods into existing design workflows with a focus on scalability and quality. Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering with relevant experience; proficiency in Verilog/VHDL, Tcl, Perl, Python; Linux Bash/tcsh; hybrid work model in multiple US locations.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance TS/SCI
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3+ years' experience or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 2+ years' experience
- Experience in front-end and back-end design tools and flows
- Experience in EDA tools and methodologies, including debugging and problem-solving
- Experience in physical design, optimization, and tools flows and methodology (TFM)
- Experience with Verilog/VHDL - Tcl, Perl, Python scripting
- Linux Experience: bash, tcsh
- Hands-on experience of industry standard front-end and back-end EDA tool installs
- Experience in installation of foundry PDK and flows (Cheetah, etc.)
