Job Summary
Design and Verification Engineer on Micron’s Pathfinding Design Team responsible for full-chip functional verification and development of advanced memory solutions. Responsibilities include creating verification plans, building SystemVerilog testbenches and assertions, performing full-chip functional verification across memory architectures (DRAM, emerging memories), collaborating with digital design teams to debug test cases, applying verification techniques, and contributing to mixed-signal circuit development, concept development, circuit simulation, optimization, and floor planning to enable breakthrough memory solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Proficiency with UNIX and Cadence design environments (simulation, schematic entry, SPF extraction)
- Experience with circuit-level verification using analog, SPICE, and Verilog design tools
- Experience developing verification plans and building SystemVerilog testbenches
- Strong understanding of memory technologies (DRAM, NAND, NOR) and memory design verification
- Experience with design-for-test (DFT) methodologies for memory products (preferred)
- Exposure to RTL verification, static timing analysis (STA), or timing-accurate Verilog (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with digital design teams and perform full-chip functional verification
- Knowledge of semiconductor physics and electronic circuits
- Ability to analyze, debug, and optimize verification flows
