Job Summary
Design and produce graphics for signage, exhibit displays, and event décor across print and digital formats. Lead event décor design and preparation for signature events, coordinating setup, transport, and installation at Douglas County Libraries locations. Manage multiple design projects with precision in layout, formatting, and pre-press production while utilizing hands-on skills to assemble design elements and maintain installations. Collaborate with staff and vendors to support overflow marketing projects. Manage supply ordering for event décor and printed materials within budget. Participate in department meetings and foster collaborative relationships with coworkers. Maintain proficiency in industry technology and meet organizational policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of graphic and event decor production experience, and ability to travel between locations. Biweekly wage of $2,153.85 to $2,692.31 for full-time 40-hour work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years of graphic and event decor design production experience
- Basic skills in Microsoft 365 or other productivity, collaboration, and cloud-based services software
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Must have a reliable method of transportation between all DCL locations
- Must have the physical ability, stamina, mobility and manual dexterity to support a 7-day a week operation
- Ability to read as small as 8pt font
Desired Qualifications
- Expert knowledge and use of computers in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite in both Apple and PC platforms
