Job Summary
Design team member assisting clients in selecting window treatments, wallcoverings, and paint colors/finishes for their home and/or business; provide expert color advice; assist customers including contractors, designers, homeowners; operate POS and prepare quotes; cultivate appointments for In-Home services; drive sales and exceed monthly sales goals; collaborate with In-Home associates to best service customers; strong communication and interpersonal skills; willing to learn paint operations; must be available evenings and weekends; light lifting; experience in window treatments, color consultation, and/or interior design a plus or sales experience in home improvement/design product lines. Location: Oak Park, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to navigate POS system and prepare quotes
- Cultivate appointments for In-Home services from daily store traffic
- Must be available to work some evenings and weekends
- Ability to drive sales and exceed monthly sales goals
- Excellent follow up skills to earn sales and ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Work collaboratively with In-Home associates to best service customers
- Must be able to perform light lifting
- Must be willing to learn paint side of operations, in addition to the home fashions role
- Experience in window treatments, color consultation, and/or interior design a plus OR sales experience for other home improvement/design product lines
